Welcome!/ About Me
Here is your first assignment:
On your own blog, write a paragraph describing yourself. Here is an example of my own. I have also included a few links from Michael Jordan and other students in my class who have done the same. Be creative (but appropriate)! There are no limits to this! =)
DUE: WEDNESDAY, 3/10/10
What? You want to know about moi? Sure you do. Maybe the way you want to know how an elephant's poop smells. Not something you would ask to know, but you might take a whiff if someone mentioned it. Just out of curiosity.
Well, born in Laaas Vegas, I pretty much grew up in Looos Angeles. Some schools that might sound familiar to you are Strathern Elementary, Van Nuys High, UCLA, CSUN, Byrd Middle, Sun Valley Middle, Wayside School, and Sweet Valley High - only the first 4 of which I actually attended.
I'm much older than I look, I feel much older than I am. I'm cooler than how I dress, more chill than when I teach. I'm hotter in my head, more humble than how I speak.
I get annoyed at having to eat, shower, use the restroom, and having hair. I love the whys, the hows, the blunt, and the respectful.
I get around. No, not like that, but literally, all around the world. I've been to Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, India, Zambia, South Africa, Uganda, Kenya, and Malawi. I needed 9 shots in order to go the last 5.
My name sounds like "Chinese" and rhymes with "dirty" in Spanish, but it means "life" in Hindi. The letters of that same name spells "ninja" in English. My name is originally Korean and means "beautiful" and "truth" (go figure, I find tons of beauty in Truth).
I get excited over good lessons, earnest students, snowboarding, and San Francisco.
And I love to teach.
And I'm super excited to meet and teach YOU!
Other "About Me"s that you might enjoy and take example from:
Michael Jordan's "About Me"
Cynthia's "About Me"
Cynthia 2's "About Me"
Dianna's "About Me"
Letty's "About Me"
